Ethnos360 has insisted for years that they have a zero-tolerance abuse policy and that what they learned from the horrific abuse in Senegal changed their response to abuse so entirely that we should no longer be concerned and trust them to do the right thing.

Yet somehow the recent complaint outlines the same patterns of minimization and willful refusal to respond that have characterized this organization for decades. If they have come so far, why did two Ethnos360 leaders, then-CEO Larry Brown and Child Safety Director Brian Coombs, tell them to leave it to God? Does that sound like responsible stewardship of their roles? Does that sound like child protection? Does that sound like zero tolerance?
